Transition Arrangement for Hospitality C to Hospitality A/M/V
Students who completed units in Hospitality C in 2023 may combine these with units from Hospitality A/M/V when completed in 2024 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content. Units from Hospitality C cannot be combined with units from Hospitality T.
Transition Arrangement for Outdoor Recreation C to Outdoor Recreation A/M/V
Students who completed units in Outdoor Recreation C in 2023 may combine these with units from Outdoor Recreation A/M/V when completed in 2024 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Transition Arrangement for Outdoor and Environmental Education A/T/M to Outdoor and Environmental Education A/T/M available from 2024.
Students who in 2023 completed units in Outdoor and Environmental Education A/T/M course version expiring in 2023 may combine these with units completed in Outdoor and Environmental Education A/T/M course version available from 2024 to form a course.
Transition Arrangement for Senior Science A/M/V to Interdisciplinary Science A/M
Students who complete units in Senior Science in 2025 may combine these with units in Interdisciplinary Science A/M completed in 2026 to form a course. Units from Senior Science A/M cannot be combined with units from Interdisciplinary Science T
Bridging Literacy A/M and Bridging Numeracy A/M will be available for teaching from the beginning of 2025.
Contemporary English A/M and Contemporary Mathematics A/M will be phased out by the conclusion of 2025.

Students who completed units in Contemporary English A/M in or prior to 2025 may combine these, upon meeting eligibility requirements, with units from Bridging Literacy A/M to form a course in Bridging Literacy, provided there is no significant duplication of content.

Transition Arrangements for 2023
These rules apply to students studying Accounting A/T/, Business A/T/M, Economics A/T/M, and Tourism and Event Management A/T/M during or before 2022.
In 2023, all students in years eleven and twelve will study units in the revised Commerce courses accredited from 2023 and will be assessed under the new Commerce Framework accredited from 2023. Teachers will ensure there is no significant duplication of content.
Accounting A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Accounting A/T 2017 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Accounting A/T 2017- 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Accounting A/T/M completed in 2023 to form a course in Accounting A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Business A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Business A/T/M 2017 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Business A/T/M 2017-2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Business A/T/M completed in 2023 to form a course in Business A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Economics A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Economics A/T/M 2017 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Economics A/T/M 2017-2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Economics A/T/M completed in 2023 to form a course in Economics A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
The following courses will be assessed under the Humanities and Social Sciences Framework from 2023.
Philosophy A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Philosophy A/T/M 2018 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Philosophy A/T/M 2018-2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Philosophy A/T/M commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course in Philosophy A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Legal Studies A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Legal Studies A/T/M 2017 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Legal Studies A/T/M 2017-2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Legal Studies A/T/M commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course in Legal Studies A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Politics A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Australian and Global Politics A/T/M 2018 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Australian and Global Politics A/T/M 2018 – 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Politics A/T/M commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course in Politics A/T/M provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Automotive Technology A/M/V commencing in 2023 will replace Automotive Technology A/M/V 2018 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Automotive Technology A/M/V 2018 - 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Automotive Technology A/M/V commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Business Services A/M/V commencing in 2023 will replace Business Services A/M/V 2017 - 2022 in 2023.

Agriculture A/T/M commencing in 2023 will replace Agriculture A/T/M 2017 - 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Agriculture A/T/M 2017 – 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Agriculture A/T/M commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Interdisciplinary Science A/T/M commencing in 2023 replaces Interdisciplinary Science A/T/M 2018-2022, Forestry A/T/M 2018-2022, Oceanography A/T/M 2017-2022, and Flight A/T/M 2018 – 2022 in 2023
Students who studied units in the previous courses of Forestry, Flight, Interdisciplinary Science and Oceanography expiring in 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Interdisciplinary Science A/T/M commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course in Interdisciplinary Science A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Pathways to Work and Learning A/M/V commencing in 2023 will replace Pathways to Work and Learning A/M/V 2015 – 2022 in 2023.
Students who studied units in Pathways to Work and Learning A/M/V 2015 – 2022 may combine units completed prior to 2023 with units from Pathways to Work and Learning A/M/V commencing in 2023 and completed in 2023 to form a course in Pathways to Work and Learning A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Furniture Making Pathways A/M/V will be available concurrently with Furniture Construction C in 2023 and then replace that course in 2024
Students who completed units in Furniture Construction C in 2022 may combine these with units from Furniture Making Pathways A/M/V New when completed in 2023 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Where schools continue Furniture Construction C, students who complete units in 2023 may combine these with units from Furniture Making Pathways A/M/V when completed in 2024 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Horticulture A/M/V will be available concurrently with Horticulture C in 2023 and then replace that course in 2024.
Students who completed units in Horticulture C in 2022 may combine these with units from Horticulture A/M/V completed in 2023 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Where schools continue Horticulture C, students who complete units in 2023 may combine these with units from Horticulture A/M/V when completed in 2024 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Live Production and Services A/M/V will be available concurrently with Live Production and Services C in 2023 and then replace that course in 2024.
Students who completed units in in Live Production and Services C in 2022 may combine these with units from Live Production and Services A/M/V completed in 2023 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Where schools continue in Live Production and Services C, students who complete units in 2023 may combine these with units from Live Production and Services A/M/V when completed in 2024 to form a course, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Transition Arrangements for 2022
These rules apply to students studying Dance A/T/M 2017-2021, Drama A/T/M 2017-2021, Media A/T/M/V 2017-2021, Music A/T/M 2017-2021, Photography A/T/M 2017-2021, and Visual Arts A/T/M 2017-2021 during or before 2021.
In 2022, all students in years eleven and twelve will study units in the new Arts courses accredited from 2022. Teachers will ensure there is no significant duplication of content.

Dance A/T/M and Specialised Dance A/T/M 2022 – 2026 supersedes and replaces the previous Dance A/T/M 2017 - 2021 course.
Students who studied units in Dance A/T/M 2017-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Dance A/T/M or Specialised Dance A/T/M 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in Dance, Specialised Dance or Studies in Dance, provided there is no significant duplication of content.

Students who studied units in Construction Pathways A/M/V 2012-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Construction Pathways A/M/V 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in Construction Pathways, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Psychology A/T 2022 – 2026 supersedes and replaces the previous Psychology A/T/M 2012 - 2021 course.
Students who studied units in Psychology A/T/M 2017-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Psychology A/T 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in Psychology A/T, provided there is no significant duplication of content. Students who took Psychology M in or before 2021 will be provided with special arrangements in 2022.
There is no longer a course in Behavioural Science for students beginning studies in Psychology or Sociology from 2022.
Sociology A/T/M 2022 – 2026 supersedes and replaces the previous Sociology A/T/M 2012 - 2021 course.
Students who studied units in Sociology A/T/M 2017-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Sociology A/T/M 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in Sociology A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
There is no longer a course in Behavioural Science for students beginning studies in Psychology or Sociology from 2022.
Social and Community Work A/T/M/V 2022 – 2026 and Early Childhood Studies A/T/M 2022 - 2026 supersedes and replaces the previous Social and Community Work A/M/V 2016 - 2021 course.
Students who studied units in Social and Community Work A/M/V 2016-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Social and Community Work A/T/M/V 2022-2026 or Early Childhood Studies A/T/M 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in either Social and Community Work A/T/M/V 2022-2026 or Early Childhood Studies A/T/M 2022-2026, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
Tourism and Event Management A/T/M/V 2022 – 2026 supersedes and replaces the previous Tourism and Event Management A/T/M 2014 - 2021 course.
Students who studied units in Tourism and Event Management A/T/M/V 2014-2021 may combine units completed prior to 2022 with units from Tourism and Event Management A/T/M/V 2022-2026 completed in 2022 to form a course in Tourism and Event Management A/T/M, provided there is no significant duplication of content.
The Life, Leisure and Learning M course will be extended to 2022. Students who begin studying Life, Leisure and Learning in 2022 may not continue it in 2023.
Schools are directed to the wide range of A/T/M/V courses available for alternatives, in particular Connected Learning A/M and Pathways to Work and Learning A/T/M/V.

Beginning Classical Languages A/T/M 2021 – 2025 supersedes and replaces the previous Latin Beginning 2015 - 2020 course.
For certification purposes, units already completed by current 2020 Year 11 students from the Beginning Latin 2014 - 2020 course can be included with Beginning Classical Languages A/T/M 2021 – 2025 to form a course.
All unit combinations under the transition arrangements are subject to the condition that there be no significant duplication of content.
Continuing Classical Languages A/T/M 2021 – 2025 supersedes and replaces the previous Latin Continuing 2015 - 2020 course.
For certification purposes, units already completed by current 2020 Year 11 students from the Continuing Latin 2014 - 2020 course can be included with Continuing Classical Languages A/T/M 2021 – 2025 to form a course.
All unit combinations under the transition arrangements are subject to the condition that there be no significant duplication of content.
Connected Learning A/M 2021 – 2025 supersedes and replaces the previous Connected Learning 2015 - 2020 and Food for Life A/M 2012 - 2020 courses.
For certification purposes, units already completed by current 2020 Year 11 students from the Connected Learning 2015 - 2020 and Food for Life A/M 2012 - 2020 courses can be included with Connected Learning A/M 2021 – 2025 to form a course.

Global Studies A/T/M 2021 – 2025 supersedes and replaces the previous course.
