Introduction to the BSSS Workshop

Teachers work through 2 separate workshops to cover the introductory information required to understand their ACT Senior Secondary System effectively.  This course is designed for new educators or new to college teaching in the ACT staff.

Workshop 1 covers:  The ACT Senior Secondary System, Curriculum, Assessment and Moderation.  This workshop is designed to take 3 hours to complete and requires the submission of several Google Forms to check understanding and provide participants with the ability to clarify their understanding.

Writing Great Rubrics

Teachers work through 3 activities evaluating rubrics and get access to the Rubrics Handbook which outlines Professor Griffin’s rubric criteria and gives examples.
